Digital Painting: Nea Mera

My first attempt with painter was this image. Nea Mera or in English – New Day was an image of the Parthenon which i began to toy with. With Corel Painter i experimented with a plethora of mediums and familiarized myself with my tablet. Using these new mediums i really tried to bring out the rich color and atmosphere in the scene. Corel Painter is an amazing program for this kind of unique brush work with a tablet allowing you to work just as you were using traditional media.
