Digital Painting: Island Sun

This began as fairly small photograph of a Greek Island that i found somewhere. With Corel Painter i used acrylic and oil as well as a few other mediums to bring out the rich color and atmosphere in the scene. Corel Painter is an amazing program for this kind of unique brush work with a tablet allowing you to work just as you were using traditional media.
