Bobdale Gloves Vehicle Wrap

Working together with Speedpro Imaging and Bobdale Gloves i designed the vehicle graphics to go on one of their promotional trucks. The main idea was to showcase as many gloves and brands as possible on the truck while catching the attention of vehicles passing by. Being the second vehicle wrap i have done this one went quite well, with the exception of the fact that the sheer size of the truck required even larger images. Huge files with ridiculous resolutions were created for a high quality print, and the final design had to be fed to the printer in smaller sections to avoid technical melt downs.

Printing of the final design was done in 4′ sections overlapping each just slightly and the colors looked fantastic. Unfortunately, plans for me to do the install were cancelled as a cheaper third party was called in. The results from a distance looked great, however due to the cheap third party install which turned out to be a rush job anyone nearby could see tears, crooked lines and patch jobs to certain areas that looked quite awful. I had made recommendations for certain areas to be repaired but who knows if it ever happened, as it was out of my hands.
